
03/23/2007 - Mini / Flag Rugby
Last year, during the 2006 season the Wanderers launched their very successful mini rugby coed program for U8, U10, U12, and U14. This year we begin Friday, May 11 at 6:30 pm. The schedule includes most Friday evenings as well as a series of 5 tournaments or festivals typically held on Saturday. Please check the registration page for the fee structure. Included with the registration fee is insurance, shorts, socks, sweater and mini rugby ball.
The goal is to pass on our knowledge and to teach the kids the basic fundamentals of the game of rugby. This is a game that teaches discipline, team spirit and helps create camaraderie which in turn provides an opportunity for fun and physical activity.
Registration can be done at any time including the first practice session on Friday, May 11.
