2/14/2007 - February 20 Update
Toronto Rugby has a new format for their web site which should provide additional info for the upcoming year www.torontorugby.com. Of particular importance to many will be a more accurate schedule of games for all divisions including the ORU games. If in doubt check here for confirmation regarding who is playing where. We will post as best we can our dates and times; however, as the year progresses due to circumstances these may change. For players, practice is usually a good time to get the best information. Keep in touch with coaches and those involved with the playing sides. The first league games will begin May 12 for both men and women.

Six Nations Live Rugby continues this Saturday beginning at 9:00 am at the club. We have averaged about 120 people each weekend. This Saturday should be great with all three games being played on the one day. Check our website www.ajaxwanderers.com for times.
Smart Rugby is a program mandated by Rugby Canada for all coaches, players and referees covering the best practice principals for the contact elements of the game. Club coaches will deliver this program to players and referees prior to the beginning of each season to ensure a safe environment as practically possible.
Registration Day will be held on March 24th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the club for all players – check www.ajaxwanderers.com for the 2007 fee structure. For the men, we must have 30 senior men registered by April 13 in order to qualify for the division we played in last year. For the senior women their deadline is April 20. If you are unable to attend or commit, contact your coach and make arrangements with him or her. Junior registration will continue throughout the year.
Incoming tour teams from the UK include Heriot Watt University scheduled for June 28th verses the men and Windsor Boys School verses U16 scheduled for July 8 to the 10th. The Windsor team needs billeting for two nights with the game to be played on the third day.
